We thought it was Dennis Coath too. He has announced at Tigers before.
We will succeed, we cannot fail the only obstacle is doubt...
Was a great game, is still a great game, will always be a great game.

It was Dennis Coath and he was the announcer at the Walkers Stadium for the game against Bristol or Bath.

What a great change to be able to listen and enjoy the tannoy announcer, excellent, let`s keep him. Much better than the monotone drivel usually squeaked at us
that`s me. gme. let your fingers do the walking
Roll on Christmas, let`s have some nuts
AND
(don`t forget Sheila`s bread pudding)

What about sundays voice as a whole?

How was the crowd? Was it as intimidating as it used to be?

Harsh. Charles Dagnell might be a number of things, but monotone certainly isn't one of them.

Have to agree. The announcer was much more accomplished and professional than our usual (very amateurish, but not in a good, T Thomas way) man.

I thought we were talking about Terry Thomas. Now there would be an improvement.

Try scored: "Good show!"

Try conceded: "What an absolute shower."

Cheerleaders: "Ding Dong!"

"Ding Dong" was/is Leslie Phillips' catchphrase, not Terry-Thomas'.

I suppose the evidence of whether it was the change of announcer, or something tweaked in the PA itself will show when we have another game with someone else announcing.

Excuse me Mr Daily waffle but I didn`t mean Charlie Dagnall, he only does the halftime stuff I think............I meant the monotone one, he can`t help it though I suppose, at least he gets up there and does it (unfortunately)
