RayDTuTu, worry not.

In case you didn't know, Out of the Vaults will reopen soon (set for monday, but maybe sunday) in the guise of The Pub (crappy name, I know). In a new location across New Walk, next to the god-awful tart-fuel shop known as revolution.

Looking forward to it already.

But crateman, it is the wrong side of New Walk.
The kings Road side is the side for people going to the Rugby/Football
The other side is for people going into town and getting drunk on Alcopops.

Then RayDTuTu, we must bring the word to the heathen.

Gird your loins, and drink nowt till opening time in order that you build a thirst - there's work to be done!

Seems to suggest that he's not given up all hope of getting some more cash for players.

Maybe if we culled the execs we could afford them. :smt070
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Maybe this will force us to blood some of the younger players - it did pienar no harm last season. I know Tonks and Co are young but they have the ability to do it at the top.

Based on quote in the Mercury " "I'd like to sign both of them, but I have been told we have not got the money"

Taking a glass-half-full view, should this actually be taken to mean we can't sign both, but could sign one?

Just a thought...

Absolutely Chipnchase, there will always be something or someone to moan about, I've noticed a 'growing' number of anti-Smith 'supporters' "never passes", "pointless having a winger if he's playing centre" etc...so I guess he's this years fall guy.

We are always the team that others try to emulate, both on & off the pitch, there's a reason for that............its well run........apart from the little lack of focus during the Loffreda era (their own admission)

We should get a certain amount for each player in the EPS (if I remember it was in excess of 100K GBP per player). So for our 9 EPS players we should be getting in excess of 1-1.2M GBP.
IRU? Which IRU are you refering to: International Road Transport Union, Inertial Reference Unit, Innovative Research Universities, Idaho Rivers United,
Indoor Receive Unit, International Romany Union, Individual Responsibility User, International Relief Union, Integrated Recovery Utility, International Reform University , Internal Reference Unit, IVA Replacement Unit, Interface Receptacle Unit, Infrared Receiver Unit...The list goes on, or maybe you are refering to the IRFU :smt002 . I do however sympathise with you over the compensation deal, buts thats democracy for you.

easty of course the Falcons game has sold loads of tickets...cut price ticket deals, 1st game of the new stand, 1st home game of the season, its on a Saturday , should be decent weather & it isn't on tele.

Oh that is so witty ............ NOT! It is not like you didn't know what I was referring to but hey, it does prove that google is good for something when you have nothing better to do with your time!
