Heckling the kickers
Sorry to say but some Tiger's moron found it amusing last night to shout out just as the Sale kickers were going for goal. "You're gay" was shouted at Charlie Hodgson, and "Don't slip" was shouted when Lee Thomas lined up his first kick.
Just remember that when we get back to Welford Road and the oppositio fans do it that we are not perfect.
For the record they were sat behind the goal in thw wet stand, rows either A or B and seats in the late 80s.
Rant over.

Re: Heckling the kickers
Point well made - heckling kickers isn't welcome at WR. It sounds as though last night's offender was Brahms or very juvenile - and a homophobe.
Valhalla I am coming!

Forwards win games , Backs decide by how much
Re: Heckling the kickers
Terrible behaviour.
If you can identify the bloke, I am willing to meet him outside Welford Road to establish just how tough he is when it's one on one.

I heard him too, made me cringe really. Don't mind shouting at the opposition during play but kicking, it's just not right!

First of my predicted "10 moans" list ticked off, less than 24hrs after the match had finished, only, this time, it was one of yours, still, they all count. 9 left to go ....

Let's turn the tables, how about -
kicking the hecklers!
kicking the hecklers!
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

Not at all Jack, for what it's worth, I'm part of the "dont heckle" brigade. However, posting on here about it, serves no purpose (other than ticking items off on my "10 moans" list).jack wrote:Embarassing ignorance
I also understand (some dont) that there is a difference between jeering a kicker and shouting out what this fan did. Neither are good and the later is definately not acceptable, in my opinion.
An O's fan shouted something similar to Hook at WR last year, that too made me cringe.
It's nice to see Wigantiger acknowledge that none of us are perfect.
