I was thinking the same thing. And where are the Nottingham front row duo?

Matt Parr:

'The proud Lancastrian has been a permanent fixture in the front row for the Green and Whites since his arrival. A strong scrummager, Parr, is also a force to be reckoned in the loose with an impressive workrate.'

Nicely balanced Tigers team with plenty of horsepower available from the bench.

Looking forward to seeing how Hipkiss and Allen combine in the centre and I really like the look of the back three.

Good team considering our injuries and the fact Ellis and Croft are unable to play. I would like to know why the Nottingham duo of Harris and Duffey havn't been included though, any ideas?

Up front we have the clear advantage. As long as our 9, 10 and 12 play well we should be fine. I have no reason to doubt them as they are all in my opinion quality players, just lack of time playing together could be the only worry.

Lets hope they have stitched up the defence from the Munster game as the Sale backline has power and plenty of pace?

A bit surprised that Matt Tait nor Luke Abrahams are in the Sale starting line-ups.

Can't really argue with the team selected.

Matt Parr seems to have arrived out of nowhere (or Nottingham at least).

Our backs will need to be a bit sharper in defence (and attack) than last week, but I'm expecting big things from the pack and hope that we will be dominating possession.
Will be glued to the web listening.

i notice both teams are making use of the 8 man bench as well. Could we see a return to the amateur era of both front rows being completely replaced around the 60 minute mark!

No real queries with the Tigers team, although the half backs are inexperienced (in terms of Tigers at least, with Staunton). Youngs needs to show he can deliver for 80 minutes and deliver accurately, and this will be a real test.

Sale's strength is in the same area. Their pack is a little unknown and untested, and Tigers would seem to hold an edge here. If they (Sale) can at least hang on up front, then Wrigglesworth and Hodgson can be devastatingly good and a real problem. Look for them to be releasing their wingers with high balls and chips if you ask me.

Also, lest we forget our pretty ropey record against Sale up at their place. This will not be a cake walk in the flower park.

The Pack should shade it but the Sale half backs are far superior . Cueto and Cohen are pretty good wingers and if our tackling is not a lot better than last week we'll lose .
