I'm a lock by trade but judging by the average age of member here i might be a little lightweight for the 2nd row (13 stone 10lbs) unless the game is a along way off (aiming to be 14 stone 5lbs by the end of the summer). That being said I'd also guess my fitness levels are probably above some of the old boys and im an occasional 6/8 if we're looking for someone to fill this void - but I'm happy to play where ever if we look short ina specific position.

Coaching wise I'd be happy to think up some line-out calls etc (I'm a jumper).

I think the Bris forum had a team in honour of one of their members who sadly passed away? Though when i saw pictures they looked pretty well organised, what kind of team are we going to be looking to play? think the Wasps forum could get one together?

If I am unable to play due to my age, I'm only a young-un, then I am more than happy to take up a coaching role but I'll leave that up to you to decide.

Well KB at first thoughts I was looking to see if we could get 2 teams, but on your suggestion, maybe it would be worth posting on other team forums and seeing if they could get a team, all in aid of charity.

Can't see why we couldn't try and get every Prem team involved and have it as some sort of event for charity

Do the Droglodytes still play?(ex Tigers players),they used to turn out for charity matches and I'm sure there's a club in around Leicester that would accomodate a charity match .If it was for Matt, for example, I'm sure there would be people who would help organise it.

I've played 4,5,6 and 7 before, although don't expect me to be going up in the lineouts.

When i played at lock in college it was as there was only another 2 in the squad, of the 3 (inc. me) only one of us jumped, me and the other lock just supported/lifted.

we used the tactic of throwing a lightweight backrow miles into the air and then catching him on the way back down!

Yes was going to ask on age limits? Im only 17 but play county under 18s, academy colts and very rarely low level 1st xv rugby.

On the matter of backs my brother said if hes around he'll play, Wing, Full back or O.C all played to National under 18s level, although hes getting old at 24 :smt016
