Kornboy, if Rugby Times does not mention this particular rumour, what does it say?

Nothing RE: Michalak as far as i can tell, just a bit about Cockers has gone on Holiday for a week so Dupuy has to wait to find out whats happening on that front.

I would guess he would be like Serevi was either frustrating or fantastic, probably at the same time :smt002

No mention of Tigers being interested in him here....

According to this, Perpignan are favourites to land him.

btw the snippet about Habana being out of contract in October is interesting. Toulon must be one of the few clubs who could afford him.

Shows how much I keep up with the game, the last time I looked I thought Michalak was playing in South Africa.

When did he go back to france or has he never left?

His excursion was just a 1 year thing - returned at the begining of this season though was injured at the begining i believe.

No question he is a class act, not sure any club would turn down the opportunity would they. He has experience in bundles, not sure about his age but presume around 26/27. Played in France, Super 14 in South Africa and international.

Interesting that there is a suggestion on the thread that we are/have been used to garner interest and therefore secure a better value contract. Not sure I completely agree with this, correct me if im wrong but I dont believe Tigers are the best payers in the world ?.

On that basis, difficult to use as the big stick.
