3rd Munster Lion Out

Post by wee-young'un »

Poor Jerry Flannery has been ruled out of the Lions after suffering a chipped bone in his elbow in training...

Who's the likely Replacement?
Best
Or
Ford?

On 6 nations form, Ross Ford but I confess I don't know what his fitness or form is currently.

Mefin Davis AKA The Muffin Man?

Keith Wood has backed Rory Best:

He was pretty poor in the 6N. Most of the talk seems to suggest it'll be Rory Best.

Couldn't understand how Flannery got the nod over Best in the first place. But then again, couldn't work out how Quinlan got in ahead of Croft (now rectified) or how Kearney got in ahead of Geordan Murphy.

Perhaps Murphy has a shout in replacement for Halfpenny but is not a recognised kicker. Who knows with these selectors it will likely be Cipriani!

It has to be Ford - it was a discrace he was niot selected in the first place

I fell sorry for Flannery because he is a good player and did deserve to be in the party

Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”
