Songs for Saturday
Guys
Ive just been having a look at the Leinster forum and they are making up new songs just for the final to replace their usual drone of "molly malone"
Ive got an idea on how to counteract this.
When we are WELL in front on saturday i reckon it would be a good opportunity to mock the Irish (as an Englishman through-and through) I hate missing opportunities.
How about we start with a catholic favourite but with a tigers twist.
I honestly think
"its a long, long way round Tuilagi, its a long way to go, its a long long way round tuilagi and the ball stops there"
Suggestions please for any more

My thoughts exactly!!!! swing low or Jerusalem
Re: Songs for Saturday
Be careful - some feel that tho we have no songs, this one is wicked and upsetting to the sensitive Celts. Only to be sung if we are well in the lead.

Re: Songs for Saturday
To be honest if the flat cap and slippers brigade wish to moan then they can.
Has any tigers fan thought that the songs that leinster will be singing will be irish rebel songs molly malone for one, there forum is also mentioning singing irelands call and danny boy
Im english not racist and as ive commented on another thread Swing low and jerusalem are not racist they are patriotic there is a HUGE diffeence
and singing whilst well ahead could be done but do munster sing fields of athenry when well infornt? no they sing it all the time
We all need to get behind the lads on saturday because you can bet ure last quid that Leinster will be. There is an air of complacency about saturday which is worrying

Re: Songs for Saturday
The worry for me was that there was hardly any noise from the tigers on Saturday.
Was this due to:
a) all the singers stayed away as they disagree with the PO's
b) all the singers are on their way to Scotland
c) fans felt aggreived after all the abuse after Cardiff game
d) we were all apethtic for Twickers?????????
All I can say is:
TIGERS TIGERS TIGERS ans SWING LOW and JERUSALEM

Yeah, I thought Tigers fans were very quiet on Saturday. Only really get going when in lead. We need to keep it up all the time. My voice is only just coming back to me. It will have left me by Sunday morning.
Re: Songs for Saturday
Swinglow mentions Jordan/Geordan in it so it could be a song suitable for the Tigers, especially these days.

Re: Songs for Saturday
good lad wiggo!!!
I sincerely hope the noisy tigers were on their way to edinburgh. I will be joining them on Thursday, any ideas on where the consensus are goin drinking on match day, the sensibe choice would be to avoid the rugby club behind the back pitches, its gonna be full of leinster.

The normal tttiiigggeeerrrsss will not be enough at murrayfield .The Leinster fans will be singing all day and with Swing Low being the only proper song mildly related to the tigers that everyone knows the words to, it will have to be sung to counter-sing molly malone and the fields.
LET BATTLE COMMENCE!!! (on and off the field)

Hee hee, or the Smurfs' song.
Re: Songs for Saturday
Swing Low riles the Leinster fans, we started singing it at Lansdowne road in the quarter finals and they got quite upset! On the other hand it could have been my singing voice!
