Great win and a credit to the whole squad, who looked bereft of any ideas in January, to turn it around and win the trophy is a fantastic achievement.

I wrote Erinle off months ago, but the guy has been instrumental in the last 3 victories...fair play to him.

I have champagne all over the sofa, and both daughter and I were in tears. So proud of the lads, commiserations to L'Irish who played really well and particular commiserations to Catty.

And as an aside (in girlie fashion) how CUTE was Lewis's little boy? With Mini Moody on the back of his little Tigers shirt

Save some of that champagne for Edinburgh next weekend Rizzo as I am sure the lads will give it a go against Leinster. Priceless today as the lads have played some incredible rugby in recent months.

On this performance I agree with you and I actually said that Irish played the better rugby in a later post. I meant that Tigers thoroughly deserved the trophy on their performance over the whole season!!

Over the course of the season Irish played some fine rugby. But Tigers were just that touch...smarter maybe, today.

The closest of seasons and the closest of finals. Seems fitting somehow.

Bad luck Irish, but well done Leicester, pretty proud of the effort. All the way from December actually.

I hope it takes the pressure off of next week now. We are on a winning season, let's go out and enjoy the game, play our natural game, and see what happens, knowing that we are already GP Champions.
