Banter with the Bath fans

Post by moza9 »

I had one pretty entertaining bath fan, with a few of his friends who were tigers fans around me, who was copping a bit of flack. He even had his own song. it was quite offensive tho. Was wondering what the best bit of banter was with the opposition that you had during the game?

I was surrounded by Tigers fans so we weren't bantering with each other.
But the elderly gentleman next to me did offer me one of his Werthers' Original.

Thats nice of him, people were actually putting in requests for the song at the end of the game, i even noticed one fan gave him a wet willie, it was so funny

I shall refrain from replying :smt002

The question is - are Werthers' Original on a par with flasks of soup and tartan rugs, or are they permissible? :smt005

Couple next to me were scoffing Werthers Originals and yelling for Tigers in equal measure.

Must get some supplies in for Edinburgh...

"So you are a fair weather fan, then."
"Yes, I suppose!"

I was the only Tiggers fan in a big group of Bath supporters (Row A at the end we attacked in the second half) and so copped a bit of flak. Nice bit of banter though and they where good lads. :smt023

The two Bath fans singing in the TIger Bar after the game were pretty entertaining. Got a great reception too!

After Tigers three in a row wins in the old john player cup, barf took over as the top team, then we came back again with back to back heinekens, premiership wins etc.,guess they are wondering when it's their turn again..........................they'll have to dream on and settle for singing in our bar :smt003

Were there any Bath fans?

I think very few turned up - presumably because they'd just lost to an under strength Leicester side so presumed they'd got no chance against a Tigers side with most players fit again.
