An old fashioned player a real Gent. A player unlucky to play when England had the best backtrow comnination ever. A great captain ans leader who i think maybe we should have had on the bench yesterday. A bit of leadership was lackg after Geordan went off and we started to panic a bit. HIs calm head may have meant we didnt make as many mistakes.

A true Tigers and England LEgend Good luck in al you do , you will be missed as player and even more as the fijnest ambassodor the game has had in the Pro era

Where to start? Cozza, you have been a wonderful servant, a terrific player, never less than 100% effort and always a model professional, and a beezer bloke to boot. Don't take too long a rest before deciding that Tigers is still where you want to be - Welford Road simply won't be the same without you around.

Heartbroken, heartbroken, heartbroken. :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 A true Tigers legend. I hope he does continue in some sort of coaching capacity... can't imagine him gone. It just won't be the same.

Speaking of legends, need Whitey to continue for as long as poss - won't be able to cope when he goes. :smt049 Am thinking of booking my spot in the Dignitas clinic now... :smt009 :smt009 :smt009 :smt009 Or perhaps a short drive off Beachy Head...

A gentle giant off the pitch, signing autographs or talking to the youngsters.
A true Tiger on the field of play.
Thank you Martin, enjoy being able to move on a Sunday morning!

A true legend of the club, you always gave 100% for the cause. There's nothing I respect more in a professional player in any sport than loyalty to a club, and you exemplify that. I hope we'll get to see you around Welford Road in some capacity in the future. Enjoy retirement, nobody's earned it more.

Just to echo the sentiments of what so many before me have said. Always seemed so happy to talk to the fans and always gave 100% on the pitch. A true Gent.

Good Luck and enjoy your retirement Martin .... but don't go to far from Welford Road ! :smt038 :smt038 :smt038

If not too late, I'd like to add my thanks to Martin for all that he did for the Tigers and England. It is with a great sense of sadness and loss that I see the side gradually denuded of the players who bleed green and white as well as red, and this loss is one of the worst.

I have no idea what the future holds for you Martin, but I hope that the Tigers figure in it in some capacity.

You are also extremely cute in glasses :smt049

Martin,

Thank you for giving me so much enjoyment over the years.
I have been sadder to see you retire than anyone else in the last decade. :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 :smt022 (and that means Jonno,Backy etc etc).

All the best for you and your family but please keep close to the Tigers

And their revenge is as the tiger's spring,
Deadly, and quick and crushing.
