Barkley could quit Glaws after just 1 season

Seems like Glaws are going into meltdown off the field - Walkinshaw also states that Dean Ryan isn't going anywhere so expect him to be confirmed as the new Wasps head coach any day now!

A mate of mine, who supports Bath, has said that it is rumoured that he will be returning to The Rec

They talk about him struggling to get into the number 10 shirt, but is his favoured position not 12?
And he is by far the best kicker they have!

Fair point - see the thread title now.

As for Barkley himself - it must be difficult settling into a whole new way of life - making the difficult move from the West Country to the West Country is a challenge for any player.

I wonder what the real reason is? If it's lack of first XV oppportunities what's the harm in saying you want to go elsewhere for game time? To say that he is struggling to settle in the area is laughable.

The real reason? Try Dean Ryan.

This doesn't surprise me to be honest. Barkley never disguised how difficult he found it in a Cherry and White shirt, how he missed Bath...the town, the fans and his mates (the players), which didn't exactly endear him to the shed-heads, given their fierce rivalry over the years with Bath.

Kick in teeth for Glaws. Not sure helps Bath.
