Leicester v Sale
Leicester looking to bounce back against Sale after the loss to Newcastle last weekend and the last game in front of the old Caterpillar Stand. A crunch game for both teams and Leicester will be for looking for a confidence boosting win ahead of the Heineken Cup encounter with Bath at the Walkers Stadium. Your thoughts welcomed.

What is the world coming to? it's only Tuesday! I'm not geared up to respond. Wednesday is the day for these posts.
Re: Leicester v Sale
I think that this is the most important fixture left for us - if Sale lose they will not qualify for top 4 so they will really be up for this one (Max available to them would be 63 - that assumes that they get a losing BP against us and 2 x 5 in their last 2 games - hard task cos Quins will certainly be up for it the following weekend).
That means that we really have to get behind the side on Saturday cos I was impressed by the way that Sale put Bath away last weekend. If we win it should be one side less to worry about for top 4 qualification.

Re: Leicester v Sale
IMHO, this is the most important game of the season. Defeat is unthinkable, and a 5 point victory is a realistic aim.
The fact that our Marketing Man is a Sale fan has absolutely no bearing on my enthusiasm at all. Honest!!

Re: Leicester v Sale
ive not seen any action from friday night but i was wondering if having the internationals back unsettled the side somewhat, hope thats all it was and they can gel back for what is a must win match..... its also my birthday weekend and a 5pm kick off could mean i maybe a bit more vocal (alcoholically challenged) than normal

It is huge for both teams - cant wait
Re: Leicester v Sale
Damn, no-one started the thread with the ambiguous title:
"Leicester team for Sale"
I'll just have to be satisfied with the comments that certain players have resigned.

I Hope hipkiss is ok to play, and i hope Rabeni is no where near the teamsheet.
Re: Leicester v Sale

Re: Leicester v Sale
I'd prefer not to see Vesty at 12.
Re: Leicester v Sale
The advantage imho is that both Vesty and Flood can play 10/12 so they will probably chop and change as the game goes on, i think we'll be fine, so long as we don't slip back in to bad habits like giving away stupid blooming penalties in kicking range!
