New music ?

Post by Former Prop »

Morning all, Does anyone know what is the name of the song that is now being played directly before Smoke on the Water?

It's an instrumental piece, and seems to have replaced time for action.
Our period of waiting is over - this is the time.

It's an instrumental version of a rap song by Eminem - I believe it's called "8 Mile" but someone can no doubt correct me.

It is called Lose Yourself. It is in the film 8 mile. It talks about opportunity comes once in a life time.

ive gotta say the music played at the tigers is utterly awful. Smoke on the water is a terrible song to come out to. And shinny happy people at the end? oh dear

Smoke on the water and shiny happy people are now 'Tigers' and can’t be changed. I have to agree with the awful music played on a matchday though, it's almost embarrassing and I don't think all of it can be blamed on the tight 5, there has to be some influence of someone who does the match day music and it needs sorting. The other rugby stadiums have great atmospheres partly down the music and it's definitely not up to scratch for a premiership club, 80% is 50's and 60's music and they’re not exactly songs you would recognise at that.

Smoke on the water was apparantly chosen by Martin Johnson. Enough said, it stays as does smiley happy people.

Some sense being shown at last, Bill.

Scantilly clad cheerleaders would certainly create a lot of smiley happy people.

And smoke in me water.

It is also really well liked by Dayglo as a motivating piece.

Is there something about to happen we are not yet aware of ????

Careful what you say - the last thing we want is the idiotic music they insist on playing at HQ, and more "modern" clubs such as Irish and Saracens every time someone score.

Not long ago people were complaining of new music being played. Gone back to the status quo to keep the moaners happy.

Bit of YMCA would go down well, how about Queen..Bohemian Rhapsody??
