Ironic Dallaglio

Quote on 80 minutes.

"Uncontested scrums - no way to finish a game of rugby".

Who did he play for?

And in the 72 minute he called Jason White, Julian White.

The BBC must be desperate to put him in the commentary box. :smt011

Beat me to it former Prop, couldn't believe I'd heard that!!! Missed the last seconds of the game rolling on the floor in stitches, as well as shouting a few expletives at the TV.....only just got up! :smt005

We all know dayglo has/had a brass face but that just took the biscuit.........

oh what value for money, I love listen to comedians. Do you think Jack Dee will be commentationg next week, or maybe Matt Stevens could make some comments about drug use in sport.

I found it more ironic, that despite his obvious Italian heritage, he resorted to the Brian Moore pronunciation of Sergio Parisse's name, insisting on calling him "Pa-ray-zee".

We noticed the Julian/Jason mistake.... the "and took out Julian White in the air..." Daughter commented "That'd take some doing, how would you GET Julian into the air?!"

Oh come on! lets give Dayglo a break here. It will be years for him to perfect the commentary genius of Butler and Moore? :snakeman: :snakeman: :snakeman: :snakeman:

Red Cap I love the idea of Jack Dee comentating on an England rugby match! With the dry dead pan of him and cheeky chappy Austin Healy England games would be worth watching again (though I always ended up watching them and always end up wondering why).

Shouldn't Dallaligio be off trying to sort out the steaming mess that is Wasps at the minute, they need all the help they can get if they want to qualify for the Heineken Cup next year.

There's a bit of a party atmosphere around Bath this afternoon - but you wouldn't get that at Leicester if we finished ninth." Richard Cockerill 7/5/16

S'OK. Daily and I have had full and frank discussion on a different thread.

Wasps will not qualify for Europe.

So Larry can dispense his words of wisdom to the Challenge Cup Audience (err....... both of them?)
