Kaplan Mr consistent...............NOT!!!

Post by seldomrong »

I would written about this last night but was still seething.

I did not object instintictively to Tindall's yellow card - we had been warned.

However the ref then should have set the scene for the whole game.

He simply didnt.

Why did Byrne not receive a yellow card for taking Armitage in the air? It was blatant.

There were many occasions when Wales were on the wrong side - I particularly remember Powell pulling Harry Ellis away from a ruck from totally the wrong side. No penalty just a scrum coz we were going forward.

They scored one try off a clear forward pass.

Had he been to the bookies in the morning??

Test match results often hinge on pivotal moments - we got nothing from the ref for 80 mins or at least until it was too late :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

How I hate moaning about refs when my side has been outplayed BUT I really thought Kaplan had a mare yesterday. He should be totally objective, but he started the game like he expected England to constantly infringe, and expected Wales to be victims throughout. It didn't go down like that.

And one of the passes for one of the tries may have been three metres forward. Shocking.

That said, Wales totally deserved the win. Quite simply, they are a better side than us at the moment. They're not as good as they think they are, mind.
