my parish newsletter is suggesting wusster.

we were better for having him, and i'll always respect him for sticking with us in hard times when he didnt have to (take note, mr marshall) , but i guess playing second fiddle to the emerging myler simply wasnt an appealing enough prospect.

silver linings?

barry everritt is dusting his boots off as i write! on of the most consistent kickers in league history isnt a bad back up to the young un.

and it frees up a bit of wedge in the salary cap for mssrs mallinder & west to play with.
if you are happy and you know it, you are unusual.

I imagine he would have "irons in the fire" before splitting from Saints.
Could be a very good for someone.

boon - Wuss might be a good call; haven't they been looking for a f/h for some time? - no doubt he would fit in well with their army of southern hemisphere players.

I would gladly have him here after all Houggard isn't the most exciting of players and Flood is more of a centre than a FH. After all thats the position he played mostly when he was at The Falcons.

I think that Wuss is a solid rumour. Seems to me like he is the ideal person for them (and it'd make their backs pretty formidable).

For us, I think we should stick with Floody / Hougaard. Flood is still young, give him enough time and some good coaching and he'll be great (maybe get him to spend some time with Oz). As for Hougaard, again... give the guy a chance. He does stand a little deep for my liking but he could well turn out to be one of the best signings that we have.

Why would we want him?

Like a padded bra - looks good from afar & such a dissapointment when you get close!
He's not good enough for the Northampton first team so why would we set our sights lower than them?

I'm sure the Saints fans have fond mammaries of him.

To me Carlos is like Cipriani. they are both crowd- pullers, mavericks with flashes of brilliance, highs and lows, but not team players.
He has been a pleasure to watch, at times, but now he can't even make Saints first team , so why should Tigers be interested?
