Season of Goodwill: Who is your next favourite club?
We often focus on the negatives of other clubs – supporters booing kickers, uncontested scrummages, etc. So as it is the season of goodwill, I thought I might ask which other clubs any of you have a soft spot for?
I have a liking for London Irish. Okay, they don’t play too many Irish players these days, but they seem to be a well run club and their supporters generally have the right spirit and attitude about them.
I also wish Bristol well in their relegation battle, given the efforts and nature of their supporters.

I would go for Quins to be honest, their style of rugby this season has been really impressive to watch. Other than english teams, i really like Munster, although some of their fans who dont think O'Gara can put a foot wrong, are slowly putting me off . Its always nice to watch Brive now with Goodey and Cohen playing.
Re: Season of Goodwill: Who is your next favourite club?
For me, in the GP it would either be London Irish or Worcester as I have friends that played for both clubs. Outside of the GP, it has to be Munster - great side and good fans.

Munster, USAP, Stade and Brive.
In England Northampton and Irish.

Sale, and maybe worryingly for a Tigers fan, Bath (they happen to be quite nice to watch!)
Munster is an interesting one, their supporters are superb (met a few in Edinburgh last year) though i dont necessarily want them to win everytime they play!
And i also happen to quite enjoy watching Wales, and want Argentina to win the world cup!
That covers every base i think ;)

Bath????
<spit>
They are the enemy. They are consumate cheaters and not worthy of a place in the Premiership. They play in a ridiculous waterlogged stadium and have to clear the ducks off the pitch before kick off. Their supportes do not speak the Queens English - Cuum en Baaarrff?
Love 'em ter pieces!

Have to say that Northampton is my second favourite - nice RUGBY stadium and a good day out.

There are only Leicester (club) and Ulster ( province). I might allow Ballymena (club), but that's a stretch. If all three win, it's a good weekend's work.

Bill, always a good day out down at Northampton. Good to have the local derby game back in the schedule.
