Reverse legends
At prop I nominate Ken Fourie. Not sure if he ever made any 1st team appearances or whether he was a tighthead or loosehead.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

Tom Tierney was a good player as was Rob Liley. Luke Myring was a good kicker but to just throw him into the starting line up at Kingsholm on wing when Stimpson was in one of his moods so he had to kick as well meant he never got the confidence he needed.
Raynor was terrible, absolutly awful. Tournare was alright but nothing special.
Kafer? The first year was brilliant but then it all went horribly down hill.

I'll go for Kafer. Do not remember him being brilliant!sk 88 wrote: Kafer? The first year was brilliant but then it all went horribly down hill.
The opinion expressed above is that of the author and does not imply any acceptance of it by Leicester Football Club PLC or their agents who in no way share responsibility with the author for its publication.

The one thing that Steve Booth did right was that amazing somersault against Bristol about 6 years ago that was amazing. Does anyone else remember the Stade Francais match when Booth was kicking and missed everyone I think, due to that we lost the game although there were other factors but thats the main one which I remember.
Success only comes before work in the dictionary.

Steve Booth's goalkicking was poor, but his actual play was pretty impressive. He had a fantastic step and blistering acceleration. I'm pretty sure he was (joint?) top try scorer one season.gooders060981 wrote:Forgotton all about him, good callBen the Tiger wrote:Steve Booth would be my choice a wing who supposedly kick for goal! By no means a legend at the club, but far too talented to be considered for this team.
It's only cheating if you get caught.

It's got to be Pete Sandford on the wing, the only bloke who could score a try and not one of his team mates would contgratulate him!
But the No1, numero uno has to be........ JAMIE HAMILTON this is man who gained well over 100 caps for Tigers, over 100 too many in my opinion.
Could never, never pass the ball without running at least 2 to 3 steps sideways and putting his No10 under all sorts of pressure.
The worrying thought is that until he went to New Zealand he was educating ( ) our scrum halves!!!
Have you all watched Ben Youngs he now takes steps sideways then passes
Happy to pay for the brick and the cement and bring a trowel tell me when and where

And on the 7th day, god rested, he stood patiently and awaited the green light to start the game from SKY!
