Birkett and Haskell cited
Have just read the BBC report:-
Now don't do it again! take the slap on the wrists and behave.
They must be laughing their heads off back at Adams Park
Citing panel, as Jim Royal would say "my A##e!"

And on the 7th day, god rested, he stood patiently and awaited the green light to start the game from SKY!
Tiger's seem to take a firmer hand on their own players where foul play is concerned.
Perhaps this policy has been influenced by repeated examples of Tigers being cited, found gilty and punished more severely than those playing for other clubs who probably won't even get cited let alone punished.
Perhaps whe should do what other clubs do and contest citings rather than do the honorable thing?
It seem there is one rule for us and another for the rest of them.
Another example (not of foul play) was the recent L Irish game - we had an attacking 5 metre scrum - all but one of their defensive line was standing inside the try line yet neither the ref nor touch judge did a thing to idicate off side.

It is hard to reconcile last years general scale of punishment with these sentances ... except of course for Dayglo's one week for stroking Julian's hair... a very minor offence... for which he is eternally sorry for.
Irrespective of the inconstency it sends the wrong messge to all players ... stamp and you may get away with a warning .... grossly over react when provoked and you will get away with a week not 6 weeks.
Its not good for the game ....
I trust Tigers will show no mercy on Friday for the wounded insects and will put them out of their misery... unlilke Blackett et al who seem to think being nice to Wasps is a pre-requist of the job.

Just proves that there is one rule Wasps and one for Tigers. Haskell gets away with 1 week due to provocation and mitigating circumstances! White gets is bo**ocks squeezed by O'Kelly last seaon and is banned for at least 3 weeks for retaliation . Could someone tell how those circumstances are not provocation and mitigating?
The disciplinary process is a joke.
