PLAYER ABSENCE
I think the Saxons players are not away like the main squad or am I wrong?
If I am then yes we need more Second rows

Agree if the Elite and Saxon squads are away together we might have a problem in several ares!!
On another matter and excuse me if I am old fashioned but less than half of the players in the Elite backs are 'specialists'.
2 x 9's - Ellis / Care
1 x 10 - Wilkinson
2 x 13's - Hipkiss / Noon
2 x 11/14 - Varndell / Sackey
There are 4 x 12's who can cover at 10 with various degrees of effectiveness depending on your viewpoint Barkley / Flood / Flutey / Geraghty.
1 x Utility 11/14/15 - Lewsey.
That leaves Tait whose best position has yet to be detemined but lies anywhere between no's. 11 to 15.
Sinbad who can play 12 to 14.
And Richards ??
As an ex Forward I find their selection fine with the exception of Vickery who I struggle to accept.
And what about the coaches? When will they be named I wonder.

Think of all the cash - £146k for each player named in the EPS squad.
Thats £1.16m for Tigers.

Squad seems pretty good tbh, it looks like Johnno has a great mix of form, experience and talent. Over on the BBC's 606 message board, Chuter is taking some stick, but i think he is there to help bring through the new talent and is an old hand useful for the dressing room. Its good to see all the Tigers players in both squads and congratulations to Jordan Crane on his call up he has been immense all season and was simply outstanding during the saxons tour. Now all Johnno needs to do is sort out the coaching set up..get the backs playing....restore some pride to the England shirt not much to do really then
"In Arduis Fidelius"
£1.168m Adam, don't forget the 8.
Chuter is a puzzler. He probably isn't the number 1 pick at Tigers anymore for the hooker berth (i would pick Kayser myself), but he is still a quality player and will I'm sure add experience and knowledge for the likes of Hartley.

Is the money not being split evenly between all the clubs, due to the clubs "unanimously" voting for it?
Meaning Worcester will get the same amount as we do, despite contributing nothing to the Squad

Pretty much.
Thre will be slight differences where clubs that contribute more players will get a little bit more cash as a result but the PRL stance is that each club gets a minimum amount from the RFU's EPS pot regardless of how many players they contribute so cash differences between top & bottom clubs may be in the (low) tens of thousands at best & Tigers certainly won't get £1.168m from the central post.
Thanks a lot PRL.
