Ben Youngs

Post by No6_Flanker »

He scored 2 tries in the Under 20 World Cup game against Canada and got MOTM.

"England scrum half and Man of the Match Youngs was a constant threat with his sniping runs around the fringes and was rewarded with two tries, including a fine solo try from distance"

Well Done him! And Keep it up!

(I have to admit that I did used to doubt him while others touted him as the best thing since sliced bread but now I have seen the light!)

I think youngs is quality. He should get quite a few chances next season with ellis likely to be away with england a few times during the season and with frank murphys departure.

let's hope we see a lot more of him this year -

one assumes that harry will be called up for England at some time - I would like to see the development of a great prospect like Ben rather than bring in yet another substandard import only for our home talent to seek employment elsewhere

Ben Youngs will definately get more gametime this season, as that was one of the reasons they let F.Murphy go, so they can develop Youngs.

He's certainly one of our brightest prospects, but in order to continue to develop he needs to be getting the right kind of coaching. Natural ability is only useful if it's developed effectively.
