Do not misunderstand me. Lifetime pipe smoker as I am, I still do not disagree with the ban. But perhaps it has contributed to a fall in the atmospherics?

And Rizzo, you are always reasonableness personified!!

Perhaps we should enlist Russ Abbott.....

"oh what an atmosphere, I love my rugby with a happy atmosphere..."

I think I now have an idea of how to liven up the A&L.

If I was:
a) to stand up and
b) make as though I was going to light a fag....

The noise from the coffin dodgers would be deafening.
Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!

Am pleased some one raised this issue. I have tried before but just got shot down by the 2000+ posting veterens!
What is wrong with a few football songs, there is no need for them to rude or hostile. To be honest the songs can just be about our players.
Isn't 'Tigers,tigers' a little bit boring!!

That sounds like a good idea Kinoutlon, just make sure you do it every time we're near a try line and we'll be on to something here...

I might throw pies at you from the terrace :smt002

You'll be safe then as we all know how women throw. However, will I be in the line of fire in the Next Stand?

It would be about as straight as an Ibanez line-out on a good day!

I suspect Andy Goode would have one of his off days if fans were throwing pies across the pitch... :smt023

This sounds like cracking half-time entertainment.

Rizzo hurling meat growlers at the un-dead in the A&L.

Whilst Goode sprints up and down the touch line trying to intercept as many as he can.

That's Entertainment......

But think of the motivational possibilities....

Cozza: "Goodey, if you make touch with this penalty, I'll get Castro to give you that pie that the nice lady has just tried to throw at the smoker in the A+L Stand."

Goodey: "Okay, Boss." (delivers immaculate 60m spiral kick to the safety of row Z in the Crumbie stand.)

Oh no, they wouldn't be meat pies, I'm a vegetarian, so they'd be cheese and onion pies. They make a great splat sound too when they hit target.

And I am a good thrower. I mean, I stand in the terrace surrounded by men who can tell from a hundred yards away and an oblique angle that a line out isn't straight, so I've learned from them :smt069

I don't think even Goode would make much atempt to intercept a cheese and onion pie.

No, it has to be meat growlers. Preferably snake & pigmy.

That's what rugby chaps want.

And dancing cheerleaders.....
