Does anyone have a rough idea of how much going to a game would cost? thinkin of whackin down a £100 deposit but thinkin it might be two grand or summat, and with me goin to america in sept that'll be too pricey. always wanted to see cape town though

Red, are you just looking at going to one test or all three?

For a single Test you should get some change from £2k as long as you don't plan on staying in SA for much time either side of the game.

For all 3 Tests you will be talking FAR FAR more than £2k and for the entire tour you're entering dreamland territory!

Also, if you want to go to Cape Town you won't be able to watch a Test match there as they are in Durban, Jo'burg & Pretoria.

CT is playing host the tour games against Western Province & Emerging Boks though.

I wen to New Zealand with a Mike Burton party which was great as they sorted everything - but with beer money included (considerable), oh yes and a little for food, i think i spent around 6K!! It would be less for SA i imagine, but not much. Well worth it though
