I was wondering whether any members here attended the Rory Underwood Testimonial match many years ago? And if so, does anyone have in their possession a copy of the program that was available on the night? My dad is trying to get hold of a copy. I've tried eBay (shudder ) but with no luck.
Can anyone help me? If anyone can give me any help or information please send me a private message, I would be very grateful for any response.
I was there, a game between Tigers and a "returning Lions" side in 1997 that in reality was a glorified Barbarians side including a handful of Lions tourists. Not much of a game, more a mess about.
I have a feeling that I bought a testimonial magazine beforehand only to find the magazine formed part of a programme pack, which we subsequently bought anyway. In which case I will have two copies somewhere. If I can find the spare (which bare in mind I have moved house I thing seven times since before winding up back at my parents) then its yours. Don't hold your breath though!!
I was there too.. I seem to remember the opposition defence opening wide up everytime Rory touched the ball...
As for the program, I probably bought one.. my sister might still have it. I'll take a look when I come over to the UK in a couple of weeks.. but like the other guys said, don't hold your breath!
