You're dreaming if you think the insectes will win all but 1 of their last games. They are good at the business end of the season, but have one of the hardest run-ins imaginable. Tigers will make it, no problems.

But equally, winning all of our remaining fixtures except for Bath away could be quite feasible... Add in a couple of try bonus points (Leeds/Briz/Quins home, Wuss away) and we would be up to 71 points which should easily be enough for top 2.

It all depends how our boys click in the closing stage and our luck with injuries. Don't forget we could have Alex, Seru & Harry back for a number of those games.

I reckon 3rd or 4th is the best we can hope for.

........as for anything more it then becomes down to the performance on the day, which IMHO is farcical!

The league table does not lie, 3rd or 4th is NOT championship material. You should not be able to win from there.

Looking at those fixtures a wild stab in the dark for final positions would be:

Glaws 79
Bath 72
Sale 72
Tigers 69
Wasps 63

All depends on the games between each other, and Tigers away form. But wit Big Dai - 3rd or 4th is not championship material.

WHAT WE HAVE TO DO

Post by smalldell »

We have to win all our home games and I would say 2 out of 3 away games.

First thing and I mean no disrespect to our opponents, is get 10 points from Leeds and Worcester.

After that its win as much as possible...Newcastle and Bath will be tough...Newcastle always seem to make life hard for us up there so we will have to see.

I agree with Crumby re Wasps. Just looking at their form at the moment and their remaining fixtures I would say they will win all but one of there fixtures.

I wouldn't say their run in is particularly hard as their form at present suggests they are quite capable of beating Gloucester and Sale at home possibly 2 of the hardest teams they have to face. They will definitely beat Quins and Wuss. And the only team they may lose to away could be Tigers. So to say they have a hard run in is exaggerating to say the least.

If Tigers don't pick up their form then they could struggle to make the top 4. I think Wasps will finish top 4, whether Tigers do depends on if they start picking up their form again.
