Adam Parkins

Post by Gate »

I think this has been asked before, but I don't recall an answer, so I'd like to ask again, of anyone who has seen him in action: is Adam Parkins, the Academy prop, really as big as the player stats suggest? My crude translation from metric to real money suggests he's 6' 5" and weighs 21-and-a-half stone at age 18! Wahoo!

Tell me it's true, and that he can scrummage like a beast!

Difficult to judge his prowess against a woeful Sale Jets side, but dimension wise, yes he is a monster!

Does he even dwarf sheridan?

Seems to be a common trend that props are getting taller.

Yes, he was ginormous. Didn't actually stay on for very long against the Jets, as I remember.

just checked the info on him and yes Gate your calculations look correct.
It says in the background info that he's thrown shot putt in Athletics so would expect that he is a bit of a monster!
