not the reply i was looking for!! something like, if Toulouse loose, we thrash Edinburgh, the wind blows in the right direction, and there's a red sky at night on the eve of the game, we might.... go through!!!

I wonder if any of you who stated that Cockers was stating the obvious actually paid to go to Edinburgh to watch the match.....

I think Cockers' statement was demoralising not realistic and I'd be asking for my money back, had I paid to go this weekend.

The question now is, should we turn up next week, whats the point?

There's a t-shirt merchandising opportunity here. Great big outsize white T-shirts, like the "Frankie Says" ones from the 1980s, only with "Cockers, This Is Your Fault" on them.

I, on the other hand, will have the one which says "78% Don't Want Dallaglio". :smt002

Just back from Edinburgh,

Well hadn't read Cockers comments but the only thing I could think of was that the Tigers sub - consciously didn't believe there was any chance of qualifying.

I know a couple of weeks ago many were saying the Sale game was the worst performance of the season - well I'm afraid this was a new low.

My point is that if the coach has no faith in the team what the heck does he expect from the team or indeed the supporters - his comments were, IMHO, ill advised - another thing to bite the daft :censored: on the backside! Cockers you are a nightmare!

He might have thought it, and he might have been right to think it, but he should not have said it publicly (or even privately). IMHO

I'll keep what I think of that statement private.
