i think thats a bit of a joke. He was one of the best wingers in the world, and you are completely letting a chracature of his personality cloud your judgement. he was great last season, its none of r business wat personal problms led him to leav saints, but i kno for a fact it had nothing to do with ego and they treat him v unfairly

Am i missing something? Since when has Ben Cohen been one of the best wingers in the world?!
He wasn't a bad player in his prime, although i always thought he was over over rated. For a guy with his size and pace he never seemed to make much ground going into contact. Also you can't just ignore his temperament or his mental fragility. I wouldn't be falling over myself to sign him and i hope Marcelo won't be either
What im objecting to is a personal petition against a person. in your opinion he wasnt the best? fair enough, but alot of respected ppl think he was in 2001-2002 2002-03 seasons
yeah true, why would we want a world cup winner?why is cohen getting so much more stick than any other player? obviously youwere'nt watching in the series leading up to the world cup 2003, against all the 3 SH teams.

.....This is how rugby fans behave? Petitions against players joining the club? I'm starting to hope for his sake that he doesn't join, some people here have condemned him before he's even come. He doesn't deserve this and everyone who's harassing him on this forum should be ashamed. I may not think Tigers need him (and I don't) but if he signs I will give him the full support that as far as I'm concerned, every Tigers player deserves from a Tigers fan.

Cohens ego is a product of the media. If u would rly not have a class winger like that at the club i think its a bit one eyed! I think we should getr over Hernandez, in my opinion he is gr8, but not that gr8, not a gr8.
I can't see what everyones problem is, Cohen is a quality player and still has plenty of years left in him. I think he'd prove to be a great addition to the squad.

I agree. The nonsense about Cohen on here in recent weeks has been a particular low point in this forum's history.
If/when he joins next season, I wonder how many of his detractors on here will 'spit the dummy' and boo him.
