Dai Young on TV's Try
Cardiff head coach Dai Young:
"The first try didn't look like a try to me. But they stepped up a gear in the first 15 minutes of the second half and were immense.
"We were the better team in the first half, but didn't take our opportunities when we got them and you have to do that when you come to places like Leicester."
The second try I agree I couldn't tell if it was a try or not, but the first one? Dai you need glasses

Based on what he said when we beat them in the HEC last season, plus other post match interviews, Dai Young seems to be an inveterate moaner who always thinks that the Blues are better than they really are.
It has amazed me and my Llanelli-born wife for quite a few seasons now that he has not been given the chop, particularly when you consider the money they have thrown at getting big name players in.

Is he in any way related to Randrew?Cagey Tiger wrote:Based on what he said when we beat them in the HEC last season, plus other post match interviews, Dai Young seems to be an inveterate moaner who always thinks that the Blues are better than they really are.

Thought this was a little odd when I read this quote from their coach as Varndell obviously scored, I think on the BBC website?..... Anyway read it somewhere else after and the try he is ACTUALLY talking about was Johne Murphys 'first' try not Varndells! just to clear things up a little! not even the Welsh are that biased!
Remember that you are a Tigers fan,and have consequently won first prize in the lottery of life"
