Andy Goode

Post by heyharri »

I have just joined the forum this morning :smt006 so this subject might already have been covered recently.

What's the score with Andy Goode right now? Is he injured? or out of form and favour? I can't get to games at moment but after Goode reached a points landmark at the start of the season, I assumed he was in good nick.

Welcome to the forum, Heyharri. Great to have a newbie.

I originally thought that Andy might be out of favour, especially after being replaced during the Glaws game, but understand that he is injured. No idea when he is expected to be fit again.

Welcome.

A thread entitled Andy Goode is created approximately once every 2 days on this forum. Also look out for repeating threads entitled:

"Why we should all hate Lawrence Dallaglio"
"Juan Martin Hernandez should play for us"
"Why isn't Juan Martin Hernandez playing for us"
"Has anyone asked Juan Martin Hernandez to play for us?"
"Juan Martin Hernandez"
"The RFU are incompetent" (A Bill W special :smt002 )
"Do you think that Juan Martin Hernandez hates Andy Goode, Lawrence Dallaglio and the RFU".

In answer to your query, I'm not sure.

My understanding is he is injured.

However, his start to the season has been very poor to say the least before his injury. I have defended him strongly on here in the past, but I have to say he has GOT to up his game this season or else my patience will run dry. And I dare say with a new coach from outside the set up coming in, he may not survive on a past reputation for being a strong kicker.

Now I wonder if anyone has got any suggestions as to who we would like to see brought in to replace him at fly half :smt002

All fly halves need high confidence levels and especially Goodey. Sounds like he has been declared unfit to give him time to get his head together.I agree he needs to be around firing on all cylinders. 10 has been a problem for far too long and an out of form AG just adds to it. I think Mr Loffreda's arrival will be interesting.........

Ye gads.

This started as a thread asking where Andy Goode was, that's all.

And it's already got down to comments on his form.

Enough already!

Well the question Kinny was whether he was injured or out of form...

A little from column A, a little from column B...

It is a rare occasion indeed that he is "in form" - why does it always come as such a shock to everyone, when he has yet another shocker?

On a brighter and more positive note I see Humphries is back fit raring to go and by all accounts playing well - excellent news
