England team for 2011

Post by SamWard »

I know it's a while off, but after this World Cup there will be a lot of people retiring international Rugby (Catt and Robinson are good examples).
Who do you think would make a good 15 for the next world cup? (based on mainly young people)
Mine would be:
15: Tait (if he ever does become a full-back)
14: Strettle
13: Hipkiss
12: Flood
11: Varndell (his defence should have improved by then)
10: Wilkinson (if he's still around- he should be)
9: Ellis
8: Haskell
7: Rees
6: Croft
5: Deacon
4: not sure
3: Stevens
2: not sure
1: Sheridan

Any thoughts?

I might be a little biased, but what about Dylan Hartley for hooker?
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot
