Rumours around Herefordshire (Scotts home) are that Leicester are about to give him a free transfer I for one will be very sad. I wd prefer him to Murphy anyday. He makes gd breaks and has the best service of any tigers 9 I think i have ever seen and i have been going ot the tigers for over 25 yrs.
He would be understudy to Ellis cos of Eliis pace and agrsssion I know an dBen Youngs is growing on me but Bemand wd get in my 22 anytime.
The rumours I heard are that the room it'll free up in our salary cap will be taken up by the services of a Mr B. Cohen.

In fairness this rumour first started at the time of Cohen's departure from Saints, hence the obvious link at the time in conjunction with other rumours/speculation at the time. Apparently there is a clause in the contracts giving the club an option to release a player in the event of long term injury.
Opportunities always look bigger going than coming.
Isn't there something written into the players contracts about the club being able to release you if you're injured for a long period of time? Not sure mind?
Christmas/Early january is his predicted "fitness" date - but no doubt his form will not be tip-top in his first couple of games. I'd imagine he'll be back playing around january - then back in from by 6 nations, just in time to see england take him away.
we may be lucky to see much off him this season. Even when he is goven tghe go ahead to train full on how long will it take him to get match fit and back to the standards he was palying at.
