Yes I thought It was a try too, but it was a difficult decision, it certainly wasn't obvious.
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

Like Johnno said, the decision was made either way so get on with it and stop complaining. I'm sorry to see England lose out in the final but i think SA deserved their win.

Im proud of our boys.

Last time I check England was a free country with freedom of speech, I am entitled to my opinion and the right to express it, I have so where do you get off calling it stupid, and I am far from being a New Zealander, I did see the score, I also accept the better team won, but there were still awful decision made, but thats my opinion, if thats OK with you

...and on such decisions games are won. Looked a try all the way, until the 8th or 9th showing, when Cueto's foot touches the line. But we're not football fans, we take it and move on, not blame the ref, tmo or anyone. South Africa won...fair play to them and ironic really that they played no rugby at all throughout the 80 minutes, England created all the chances and also gave away some stupid penalties. Aside from those penalties, the Springbok lineout went well and that probably contributed to the overall result. And can I end by saying, I backed Tait from the warm-up games, he's quality, not lightweight in the tackle and has proved it in this tournament.....over and out !!!

Someone else has dared to disagree with the ref on another thread, why don't you chastise them also from behind the safety of your keyboard and call them childish names... oh brave one

This thread offends me, it really does. South Africa won and deservedly so, live with it. Referee's make mistakes, believe it or not! As far as matches go, I thought the ref had a pretty good one.

Didn't look like a try to me, but pretty close either way.

Yes, it is a free country and all that, but spouting on that an official has cheated is clearly out of order. You may think him mistaken, but 'cheated' is altogether different.
