Sorry Ben, I've been offline for a few days with moving to university.
Basically, if you don't make a pick before the deadline, the system will enter your pick as a win for the home side, but won't enter a margin. Therefore you will get one point if the home side wins, but you won't get any margin or bonus points. This will only happen the first ten times you don't enter a pick, after that, you get nothing!
