did you see Tom Croft's try? 60 metres out, 2 Maori backs ahead of him, and he absolutely skinned them for pace. Brilliant and match-winning worthy!

Tom Croft is a star in the making, his pace is phenomenal for a big guy....we all knew that though, after his try in the EDF, leaving the Ospreys backs for dead. I can't wait to see him next season after a break and he gets fitter and quicker !!!

Very impressed with all the Tigers (present and yet to join). Should be no problem with the lack of names during the World Cup!!!!!!

Excellent game. Saxons organisation and work rate just about deserved to beat the Maoris, although some of the individual skills on display from the men in black were top drawer.

I thought the following players really stood out (in no particular order):
Cipriani, Barkley, Blaze, Skinner and Croft. Crane was also useful when he came on.

Barkley has really come on this season. He was absolute pap a year ago, but seems to be so much more of a playmaker now. His goalkicking isn't good enough, but his allround game is solid enough to get him in the RWC squad. I think Cipriani is also an outside bet to make the trip as cover at both 15 (preferred) and 10.

Saxon's deserved the win. Croft's try was seriously amazing!

Barkley and Cipriani had great games. Cipriani is going to be an amazing player.

There were some highly promising players on display today. The prospects for the 2011 World Cup look good! As has been said, all the Tigers players (and ex Tiger Skinner) did well. I wish we had a young 10/15 on the books like Cipriani. Crane or Haskell could be the Corry or Dallaglio debate of the future!

Wahay, at least one England team isn't a total embarrassment!

Am i not right in thinking Barkley was injured for a while and that's why he totally disappeared? Anyway, his goal kicking may not be great, but he'll be good cover in the world cup
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

Where would we rank the maoris the the IRB ranking??
Reckon they would give tonga, fiji, sammoa and italy a good game i reckon.
What do we think?
About 15th in the world?
