It looks like he is out for a long time i'm afraid. He is going to have an operation on it soon. It's thought that it's the anterior cruciate knee ligament.

Is that inside knowledge Babylon? If so how did you manage to get it? i.e. you sure it's reliable (i'm hoping not! and that he is still available for the weekend!)

Unoffy is also reporting that he is undergoing surgery, and is definitely out for the season.

Of course, this is still only a rumour and not yet a 'Rizzo'*.

:oP @ Daily Waffle ;o)

You know my position here, mate, and in this respect I have to act on the Club's official instructions. Unsubstantiated rumours are unreliable information etc etc. :oD

Of course they are unsubstantiated rumours. But best of luck with the surgery and hope you have a speedy recovery.

It's not good news, the knee will need major reconstruction. Could be an 8 month plus layoff.

if this is the case then Harry will be greatly missed, he has been instrumental in the success of the team this season.

Good luck Hazza and I was so looking forward to you showing Mr Richards whose boss.

The play offs. A pointless series of games offering the opportunity for top stars to injure themselves and thus be absent from the European and World finals!

I'm not HP!

Well if this is the case, then it is sad for Hazza.

I do though find this difficult to grasp as he was supposed to be walking reasonably after the game and without crutches and you'd have thought if his knee was very badly injured he would be walking with crutches. Shouldn't he have been carried off?

Was Ellis injured before the game? It appeared that he had his knee very heavily strapped - i.e. should he have been playing at all or was it just a coincidence?

Well then he shouldn't have started and Frank should. We should have had Harry at best on the bench.

A big mistake by our coaches and looks like it has left us with a big headache for the final.

If Peter Richards is to win the battle of the scum-halves on Saturday, is that going to make us second best overall or can we do enough in other areas?
