thought both scrum halves had pretty quiet games, just due to the nature of the gameplan we were playing. Ellis was solid, but got scragged a couple of times....not that he played badly, just not up to his recent best.
We saw the kick as did everyone around us, we were baying for blood but as ever it got 'missed' by the officials...we thought it was highly amusing btw that when the Scarlets were awarded their first penalty their fans trotted out the usual "same old Leicester, always cheating" - apparently they missed the two offences their boys had already conceeded to allow us to be 6-0 up...Popham spent the entire game breaking off the Scrum early and wasn't pinged once btw, still, i'm not complaining at the result
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep - not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
I saw it. I thought the attempt was obvious. Not being an expert on the laws, I would say attempting to kick someones head is unaceptable and ought to be RED.
But it went unnoticed. How? How can this be? When the whistle went and Geordan was binned I began to imagine I was the victim of senile dementia. Expecting to see the kicker departing It was G. From the back of the Family stand it was a good view of the kick. No doubt those closer could see the killing of the ball.
But I was amazed that after Geordans departure there wasnt further action.
