Which means he's free to face Glos at the weekend. Good news for us in what will be a difficult match.

I'm saddened for Geordan not even making the bench.

Let's hope though that Pat Howard takes full advantage and doesn't let him go on a skiing holiday! :mr.green:

The problem at Leinster is that they have dempsey, horgan and Hickie.
If he does come back the IRFU will push him South to join the Red Army and take over from Payne at FB. ;o)

If England had been half decent against Ireland then I could see the logic of sticking by the same players who had recorded Ireland's best ever result over England. The day England hammered Ireland to win the Grand Slam was the day I thought England's name was on the World Cup. I can't say the same of this irish team.

If Ireland were playing as well as they were in the Autumn internationals (when Geordan played) I could understand Eddie O'Sullivan's reasoning.

Ireland have France and Argentina in their World Cup group so shouldn't delude themselves that they don't need Geordan just to get out of the group, let alone win in the knock out stages.

Another blown Grand Slam is hardly the best preparation for a team that ought to be serious contenders for the World Cup.

Well Munster are the ones who have approached him already.

No idea if Leinster have done so as well though.

Thank goodness he's been left out again. Sorry for Geordan, of course, but he's the one flair player we have available at the mo - the type of player who can make something out of nothing.

From an utterly selfish Tigers point of view, we need him!

As I said when he was left out of the team vs. England

EDDIE O'SULLIVAN IS OFF HIS ROCKERS

Geordan always looks dangerous and is a brill player for goodness sake pick him!

I never said he wasn't happy to stay here. I only said that Munster have approached him, and they appear to be offering him a tidy package as well.

I still think he'll re-sign at Leicester for another 2 years though.
