Please be aware that if a Tigers side appears on another website before it appears here, it has not been officially released. As soon as the club have confirmation of the squad, it will be made public. Until that point, anything that appears elsewhere is pure speculation.
Likewise, any transfer news or indeed any other news related to the club that has been reported elsewhere cannot be relied on as official until the club has made a press release.

Please try to avoid just posting a link or copying and pasting text into a post without adding comment. This news is available from elsewhere, so if you do want to post news please let everyone know what YOUR thoughts on the story are as well.

It is helpful to other forum users and the moderating team if people can check to see if there is a current thread discussing a subject before starting a new one. We try to keep locked threads to a minimum, but if a duplicate of another thread already discussing that subject is posted, the link to the current discussion will be given and the duplicate thread will be locked.

This is not personal to any user, it is simply to minimise the number of threads on any one subject and to make it easier for everyone to discuss one thing in one place.
Thanks.

For information - The song Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple is the riff/tune to which the Tigers team run out on to the pitch. It was chosen by Martin Johnson some seasons ago as being a strong, inspiring and battling piece of music to inspire the team as they come out. Since Johnno chose it, it's been kept.
The other tune regularly played just before the game begins is "Time For Action" by Secret Affair.
The song usually played at the end of a game that Tigers have won is "Shiny Happy People" by REM.
As far as I know there is no information on why these two were chosen or by whom.

Club Tickets for International Fixtures.

Post by Rizzo »

Tickets for England International fixtures cannot be swapped, sold on, exchanged at all. If tickets are found on the black market the club will have their allocation of tickets removed by the RFU.

If a season ticket holder or member is allocated England tickets they must use them personally. We have a record of each ticket allocated to each supporter so can track them back.

If you have further queries or cannot take up any allocated tickets please contact the Ticket Office.

Duplicate topics

Post by Rizzo »

I have had to go through both this and chit chat forum tonight merging topics which were discussing a subject already under discussion further down the same page of the forum.

May I respectfully request users to scan through and not to start a discussion about a subject if one is already running. Please also ensure that your thread topic title is completely clear as to what you wish to discuss.
