I would have gone, but the ticket price put me off a touch, especially when you factor in travelling from Nottingham and the hassle of Sunday train services.

Sounds like I didn't miss much.

it actually took 4 of them to escort him up the pitch.... bet they felt really impotent...

my missis said you couldn't see anything anyway.. i explained it was cold and its a natural reaction to keep all the bits warm...

You would have done if you had been a Saints the day before. Not even a streaker there to liven things up.

Regarding Farell. I read today that Bob Dwyer thinks he should be in the England team. Well he's bigger and stronger than our other contenders for centre but that apart just as slow and static. Eh thinking about it I can see Bobs point now.

But then Dwyer also seems to want LD to return!

Totally agree with all comments so far. I went with my mate who's Australian and neither of us has been to such a bad match before - we struggled to stay to the end; but we did and saw the one and only try by the World IV.

Farrell - well what can I say? he doesn't get my vote.

Such a cold day, and the most boring game I have ever seen - if I was watching it on Sky I would've turned if off.

above from ronnied

At first i though you had made a mistake then thinking back to the game there was only about 4(IV)players on the world XV side that turned out for the game..

I was quite surprised that the S.A. lads around me recognised the only scotsman on the field Bryan Redpath.. that was during the warm up of course we didnt manage to get any on the field of play.. :)

Oh dear! And I'm the one who usually gets called negative! I had a great day. Wound up a few Boks, had a few beers, Mother got a bit confused. She was correct in her assessment that the streaker did show the best tackle of the day! Steady on Mother!

Who did what and who played well didn’t really matter to my kids. They just enjoyed the day as well.

Relax folks!

We got drunk!, suprise. Started off trying not to then before the game we meet loads of other lads from different local clubs, then found out we were all in the same stand. Then we bumped into more local players from other clubs, before you knew it it was like a Leicestershire rugby players jooly boys outing, ha ha!

I was watching on Sky, but missed the streaker bit, apparently the highlight of the match!
