Semi-finals draw ?

Post by westwinds31 »

Anyone know when the draw is for the semis ? I see that Lyn Jones says that he wants Ospreys to draw Tigers ..."with what happened in the Heineken Cup last season".......bring them on !!!!

Ospreys are the most dangerous potential opponents at the moment. Personally, a Tigers v Ospreys final sounds quite tasty (but let's not get too far ahead).

Sale look vulnerable at the moment, and are probably most people's preferred semi draw. It would also guarantee an Anglo-Welsh final.

I think that the draw will be:

Leicester v Sale
Cardiff v Ospreys

It will ensure that both countries are represented at the final at Twickenham.

I'm pretty sure that a Tigers v Ospreys final is the match that the rugby world wants.

However, we should remember that our 'big game' match has been, ahem, a little off in recent years. So lets not underestimate the Sharks.

I'm very happy with the draw, even though the conspiracy theorists are all having a bit of a field day.

Im pretty sure it was rigged, Anglo Welsh cup needs an Anglo Welsh final, also most convienient that it was a radio draw and not live on the tv anywhere.
Id love it to be a Tigers v Ospreys final.

Maybe it was OiL, but as it has kept alive at least the possibility of the final that both us, and probably most neutrals, want I don't think I am really bothered

It would be a bit of a bummer if we ended up with a Blues v Sharks final, mind.
