At last he's resigned :D

Hallejuah, six months too late but at least England can now put the last couple of years behind them.
It'll be interesting to see what happens next, Nick Mallett has already indicated that he would not want to inherit a coaching staff, Gatland looks like he's out the running, and I seriously doubt that Martin J will want the role.
Rob Andrew in charge for the Six Nations I think.

It just sickens me that its taken until now for a decision that should have been made 12 months ago, to be made. I can just imagine AR in the meeting saying "give me until after the 6 Nations and I can turn it around - the players are behind me blah blah blah !". Just goes to show that the RFU/Andrew have no balls !!
...by the way, I pity the guy who comes in next ! Would you want it ?

Apparently they've been negotiating a "six figure" settlement(Sky Sports), I'm sure I could have watched England slide down the table for half that-although I would have accepted a quarter!
I only hope whoever comes in is willing and able to address the structual problems at the root of this demise; I think Johnno's tenure only helped mask these problems, proving in the process how particularly brilliant he was(with the greatest respect to everyone else involved at the sharp end in that period of English rugby), seems it was despite of, not because of said structure.

Never move faster than your guardian angel can fly...
And finally ( as the 2 ronnies would have said)
It's goodnight from him,
And thank god from us.
Halleluja brothers.
Well there's always Florence  who has already said he is available to offer any advice to the next incumbent. I can see it now the only advice he'll give will be pick me,me,me. I will be Englands saviour and win the WC all by myself. Yeah right Florence.
