I think you will find that our team then was better in just about every position, and certainly in the pack.
I was at both finals in 2001/2002, great occasions, and so confident was I and a group of mates that Tigers would repeat the feat in 2003, we booked tickets very early on and 12 of us spent a very drunken weekend watching Toulouse beat Perpignan, at Lansdowne Rd (about 5000 were there) staying in Paddy's Palace Hostel....those were the days, in my prime at 40!! Where did the years go??!!
