Ok, we need to have realistic expectations. He is clearly not piloting our first choice team, and Irish aren't here to make up the numbers. It will be tough for him, but he has (I'm sure) all of our very best wishes.

Tigers: Vesty, Lloyd, Gibson, Hipkiss, Varndell; Humphreys, F Murphy; Crane, Jennings, B Deacon, L Deacon, Cullen, Moreno, Hickie, Holford. Reps: TBA

Is Gibson playing at 13??? I'm really pleased to see Humphreys given his chance, but he will need to be helped as much as possible. Wouldn't it be better to put old head Gibbo next to him to ease the pressure?

I think it was along the lines of "ouch my ribs hurt!"

He's injured.

Is this selection in deference to our 'Irish' visitors?

Hickie, Cullen, Jennings, F.Murphy and Humphreys starting, with J.Murphy on the bench.

33% of the starting lineup are Irish!

I don't mean to be the Humphreys party-pooper, but as many people on this forum have been ranting on for weeks for his inclusion, I do hope that he performs.....Humphreys was a gimme with Goodey on England duty and Burke injured, but I would feel better with Harry Ellis in at 9 to "guide" Humph....after last week, we need a win and I don't think that we have the half-backs to worry Irish to be honest. I hope I'm wrong but I am not confident for tomorrow.
