Well, I think everybody worked out that Robinson hadn't got the common sense to resign which just shows the level of his insanity and confirms he is completely out of touch with reality. I'm sorry - the bloke has completely lost it.

No surprise that the RFU haven't sacked him though - it would be more egg on their faces and they wouldn't be able to make a decision that quickly anyway.

So as a patriotic Englishman I'm with the general view on here. England has no future under Robinson so in a Patriotic way England need to lose to SA to get rid of him. None of the players will of course ever admit it, but I just wonder whether in their unconscious minds they feel the same way.

the thing is..I have actually been thinking about this....who will be his successor?

Who will want to be put in front of a firing squad this close to the RWC?

Ashton? Wells? Ford? Andrew? I think you will find a serious lack of volunteers

..........................and you lot can help!

Lea, How do you feel about coaching the backs?
Rizzo and Mrs Moody can do the physio bit!
Iain can do the PR bit
Scouse could be kicking coach!

We'd be no worse than the current regime!

The big problem is that its too late in the day....this should have happened after the World Cup, so that we could have lost our games in 2004/2005....then we would hopefully now be in a position with youngsters who would have been blooded in the international arena, made their mistakes and come out of the other end better players. If Robbo goes, the guy who takes over is on a hiding to nothing.....there is no way I would want to take over a side short of confidence, lacking in basic rugby skills and with no creativity at all.

I suggest that Robinson gets back to basics and gets rid of Cohen (should have been dropped after World Cup), White (although a Tiger, cannot disrupt at international level anymore), Grewcock (liability who can no longer be picked because of his "aggressiveness")...aside from these.....move Cozza into 2nd row, Moody to 6, Sanderson to 7 and Forrester to 8 when he's fit.

At this rate, we will be in trouble when Italy come to Twickenham and how embarassing would that be ...

AR should have gone after the 6 nations. When they announced him as head coach I had a bad feeling about him. I am starting to get embarrassed about being English.
I'll take over, I'm a level 1 rugby coach (which is all that Sir Clive Woodward was)

Hi Big Dai : Kicking Coach mmmmm

first job would be to aim a kick up the RFU jacksey !!!!!

Seriously didnt expect anything less from today - I do fear for Corry though, think the pressure of this poor run will (rightly or wrongly) reflect on him, and think his game is suffering for it - even though it has been down to AR's team selection and game plans.

When does the team for the SA game get announced? anyone

and final question - does the england game clash with Tigers game this weekend?

Is it just me, or do I detect a bit of a U-turn from our beloved national 'elite' director?

I could have sworn RA said that "even if" England lost all four games AR wouldn't be sacked - now its AR's in charge "at least" unil the end of these four internationals.

News Flash - AR your on your way, RA's starting to protect his own backside
