Were the Guardian watching the same game?

Post by TigerTimmy »

Just reading the report on Saturdays game on the Guardian website. Clearlly must have been written by a quins fan by the way it reads.

"Leicester were unconvincing. As his pack struggled to match the oomph of Nicolas Spanghero and James Hayter, the Tigers' head coach, Pat Howard, raked his hands through his hair so often it stuck up like a toilet brush by half-time."

At which point during the game did our pack ever struggle with the quins pack? THat was the best part of our game, we took them apart at every scrum.

Very strange. There was a lot to criticise, but there was no lack of oomph in the pack.

In fact the TV commentators often referred to Tigers' more experienced front row as having the clear advantage.
Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!
