Don't like to say this as Harry Ellis is a Leicester lad but Scott Bemand should get the start over Ellis now, he's faster, more physical and reads the game better.
I've been saying exacly the same thing for months. Harry is a great guy with real 'attitude', but what a difference Scotty made when he came on against Quins. I know it was Harry's first game after a layoff, but even last season when both fully fit I would have opted for Scotty everytime.
I agree that Bemand has had a huge imapct already this season and goes from strength to strength and made a major contributuion last season. It is clear that Harry is not 100% yet and Scott is thriving. Keep it up Scott.

I don't believe Scott is a better player than Harry but he is currently playing better than him .. if that makes sense :?
Has Scott got the ability to play for England at the moment do you think? Or if not now, what about his potential? I like Scott and personally think he can in time...

Bemand is the better player. Said it all last season and think the same now. Ellis hasn't improved much in 3 seasons - good player but hasn't fulfilled his potential. Bemand could make England spot his own but I think Richards is far and away the number 1 choice at the moment.

I'd love to be out there, getting paid a stack of cash to do it, being adored by thousands of fans along the way - but, alas, Pat Howard hasn't given me a call, yet!
My point is, Bemand's playing better at the moment so why change things up? If Ellis is recovering from injury and needs game time to get up to speed them play him in the Dev team.

I think that Ellis is a great player but he is not as consistent as Bemand. On his day Ellis is the best scrum half in the country but he should have to earn his place in the Leicester team and not get in on merit.
