You may not think him a legend here but he is bestowed god-like status in Fiji. Rumour has it he left his house unlocked when he moved over here, and when he returned a few months later it was still unlocked as no-one dared burgle a national icon! In Nadi airport in Fiji he has his own Serevi Cafe. Ask any Fijian about him (as I did when I was over there) and their face lights up. He was on my flight from Fiji to LA, and the crowd of kids around him was huge. He is literally a few rungs higher in celebrity status in Fiji than Beckham is here.
