Who was the extra chair for?

Having looked at this year's squad photo, I noticed there is an empty chair next to Big Jim. Does anybody have any idea who this was for? Was this a new signing that did not turn up or is a squad member absent????
I also see Matt Parr in the phot but he is not shown on the web site as part of the squad or Academy - can anybody shed any light on his background?

I reckon they just allowed extra space for Big Jim to expand

and poor old Gibbo looks squashed too.

There are one or two missing from the squad photo anyway (Ollie S for one_)

Not seen this years pic yet but in the past players who were not available for photo itself were 'Photoshop-ed' in later. Could be a space for someone, are they all there? I know I'm not!! :oops: :roll:

Matt Parr is a young prop at Nottingham (who previously played for Sale Shars & Borders).

I therefore have no idea why he's in our team photo as he was playing against Tigers for Nottingham on Bank Holiday Monday! :?

So the question becomes is Matt Parr part of our squad or not? If not how did he make the squad photo as displayed on the web site and in the Sale program pull out?
